Cyprus at Easter?

Is it usually open and vaguely sunny? Kids are aged 4-10 and don’t like properly hot so I’m looking for somewhere we can go where it’s warm enough to play on the beach (not necessarily swim) and we can do some sight seeing and exploring.

Long story but I have an easyJet voucher that I need to use before the summer and we can’t go away in half term. Trying to find somewhere we can use it without it costing an absolute fortune when we arrive (Canary Islands don’t massively appeal and are v pricey at Easter).

hence thinking of Cyprus! Any tips? Is it worth it?

We went 3 years ago. It was lovely and sunny. There were a few brief rain showers and moments where you would pull a towel over yourself while sunbathing.

Oh that sounds good! I don’t mind the odd shower of rain, just would be nice if it wasn’t a deluge the entire time!

Anywhere that people recommend going as well?
