Rome with Children

ds1 is studying Romans at school and is really interested. He has watched several factual programmes and is fascinated.

He has asked if we can go to Rome to visit the sites. ds1 7, ds2 5, dd 2.7.

Has anyone else been with children?

Would i regret it once there?

I was thinking maybe during the easter holdiays

Easter would be fine temp wise (not too hot), not sure about easter celebrations, but easter is officially in march and if like us your hols are in aprils so shouldn't be too bad.

Other places like tarragona near Barcelona have good roman examples, but of course Rome is the daddy .
