So I am married and have 2 children.
My first child (8) is with another man.
Obviously now I am married I have a different name than my son (he has my maiden name and his dads surname, double barreled)
We have recently booked a cruise for 2024 for 2 weeks.
I need to renew DS's passport.
Do I need consent from DS father to take him abroad and will I come accross any problems with him having a different surname to me and his sister and my DH?
The only issue is, his father passed away in June 😪 so obviously can't consent.
Will I come accross any issues with this? If so, potentially what? Would I need proof of his passing?
