Iceland in April

What's Iceland like around second week of April? Too wet/cold to enjoy? We'd be doing golden circle day trip etc, with an older teen with a reasonable tolerance for outdoor stuff. Thanks!

Weather is unpredictable. I went end of March a few years ago and it was sunny and cold. The locals were wearing tshirts. The week before I was told it was horrendous weather. Enjoy Iceland it's beautiful.

It’s very unpredictable. It could be sleety rain or sunny and cold. Most people go from June to mid September for a reason. April will be cheaper. However you don’t have to hike anywhere but driving rain can spoil enjoyment of the sights.
