Northern Lights Norway Cruise

Thinking about booking a 9 day cruise to Norway in March. Has anyone done one of these at this time of year? Just wondering what sort of clothing (warm I expect! 😀) and footwear we will need. Are strong walking boots suitable? Will we need ski trousers? Plenty of thermals? I already have a longish Didrikson coat that is very warm.
We won’t be doing any major hiking when on land mainly sightseeing around Tromso/Alta and places like that.

Thin layers are best. Dress like an onion.
Have been in Tromso in early March and it's cold but can be bright/sunny.
Boots with a thick rubber sole are essential.
Don't forget sunglasses. Snow glare very bad for the eyes!

Would never have thought about sunglasses! Will add to my list. 😎
