Hi, is anyone aware of a good self-catering holiday that offers a creche or kids club?
We luckily have enjoyed a few holidays to Ikos resorts in the past but I'm just not willing to pay school holiday prices and to be honest I think we would prefer self-catering because I enjoy local food and the Ikos food isn't bad but isn't as good as the hype.
Things I am looking for:
- doesn't need to be as lux as Ikos but obviously we want decent standards of safety, cleanliness and comfort
- no sunbed wars
- preferably a quiet bar and restaurant on site where we can eat / drink if we want to
- swimming pool + kids paddling pool
- walking distance to nice local town / selection of reasonably nice restaurants (they don't need to be fancy just good food)
Things I am not interested in:
- entertainment (apart from for the kids)
- sunbed wars
- anywhere noisy
- don't mind if it's near a beach or further inland
We have booked Mousses in Lefkada for May half term, which sounds perfect but wondering if there are other options out there. We have a 2 and 5 year old.
