Travelling with a dog on DFDS ferries

Has anyone done this with a dog? Am I mad to even consider it? Route would be Newcastle to Amsterdam in a pet friendly cabin.

Just on our way back from the hook of Holland to Harwich. LOADS of dogs, all seemed very happy!

That’s great they seemed happy! Was really looking at the DFDS route from Newcastle as we’re in Scotland so less driving for us to the departure port.
