Hi

Looking for a hotel somewhere about an hour or hour and a half drive from Calais on route to South Brittany. Any recommendations please?

Maggie I will be in the same boat, so bumping this up. We will be staying not in Brittany but the western reaches of the Loire so maybe a little further south but same general direction.

Any advice anyone ?

Travellodge type chains in France - most websites allow you to search by route.

mercure, novotel

ibis

campanile, premiere class, kyriad

formule 1

Novotel Rouen Sud - fantastic place in great location! Play reas next to bar has playstations and logo so dh spent hi time there with kids while I supped wine and read a mag!! has a pool, outdoor play ground, small wooded area - large park/wood down the road for walks if you want to. Near a convention centre so loads of restaurants altho the hotel one was good. Mcd's , supermarket and garage round the corner and it's just off the motorway so you won't get lost trying to find it! We'vebeen a few times.

We always get lost in Rouen so we're going poole cherbourg and sleeping on the ferry!

Hi - hope you don't mind me butting in. Am looking for a 'travelodge equivalent' stopover (Le Havre) but the economy hotels only seem to allow one child per room. Has anyone found a way round this? (The littler one would be best in a cot). I don't really want to have to book two rooms.
