October will be getting warm. Temps will be mid to high 20s. Bring your summer clothes and your swimmers.

Will you do the whole stay in Brisbane? If not - depends where you fly into. If you fly into Sydney you could spend time there before winging your way up to Brisbane then home via NZ to see family.

If you plan to spend the majority of your time in the Brisbane area you could see the Gold Coast - theme parks (Dreamworld has a wiggles world) - Sunshine Coast - day trip to Fraser Island, Australia Zoo (Steve Irwin), Montville, Eumundi Markets, Underwater World.

Be warned - jet lag is atrocious flying UK to Australia.

Where is the wedding?

Hi Piffles!!! hope you are well!!
My brother also lives in Brisbane. It is a good time of year to go - it is starting to heat up but is not cooking. the gold coast is great but Noosa was my no 1 spot!! I am jealous it will be lovely I am sure - enjoy packing the summer clothes into a case and not away in the loft at that time of year
