There will be 5 of us, so thought I'd cash in some tesco tickets for a hotel over-nighter and a day at legoland. Can anyone recomend a good hotel close by (that will fit 5 in a room (2 plus 3 children)? Tesco use marriot, and another couple of names too i think....

We went a couple of years ago, sorry can't remember the hotel we booked but we booked it as a package with Superbreak (you can google them online). We spent 2 nights at the hotel and 1 day at Legoland and if I remember correctly there was 5 of us in the room.

Actually there are some reviews of this hotel on www.tripadvisor.com. I would suggest you read them before booking.

I've stayed at Marriott Slough/Windosr - it is fine.

I sooooo wish I lived next door still, all MNers going to Legoland could have stayed over (walking distance!)

I've stayed at the Legoland Marriott - was nice and they did a good breakfast. I forced the kids to eat loads so there's be less expensive snacking at Legoland .
