Solo trips?

Has anyone done this? Wanted to do this? Been able to do this?! I love travelling and have tried a few trips with the DC and DH which were fairly adventurous but we've come to the conclusion that it's not actually that enjoyable with two young kids and we'd be better off having a 'holiday' where we stay put. Take a good book, do kid fun stuff and get a bit of sun. But that doesn't help my itchy feet. Any other parents out there who manage to do a bit solo?! And I mean it would be a max of one week. I'm not even sure I could get that really as I do the bulk of kidmin. But that's another post. Just interested if anyone else who loves travel has found a way to do it after being a parent? I just like moving around more than with kids and be more spontaneous. I love Asia but I don't think that's feasible in a week really. I think I probably just need some alone time. DH doesn't seem that bothered by travelling really. DCs are 6 and 8. Anyway, anyone else!

You’ll find plenty of people on here have.
I spent 5 days on an organised swimming trip to Slovenia this year. I’m going back by myself next year. After that I want to do a whole week with the same company in Greece.
