Post Xmas break

Would like to get away for a few nights after new year. Perhaps a European city break with 3 kids 6.11 and 12 any recommendations?

Valencia

Flight costs? Spain? Madrid or Barcelona? Paris? Again might it cost a lot as we are so close to departure? Amsterdam?

I lived in Paris for a while & absolutely loved it, although I didn’t see it in the winter.

I'm in Valencia at the moment and it's lovely (and warm). For a few days I'm guessing there's enough for kids to do....open top bus? Beach, Aquarium etc
