Dubrovnik in winter

Thinking of going to Dubrovnik in mid Feb. Has anyone been at that time of year? Would you recommend? Thank you!!

No, but I went in spring, April I think, when it was still quite cold. It was overcast and rainy, and I couldn't see the good in the place at all - I just found it depressing. This was probably not the fault of Dubrovnik, and entirely due to the weather.

I think it would be too cold for me. In September it was glorious.

Thank you. That's what I was thinking. Although I'm less worried about the cold - more about things being shut etc?

Love Dubrovnik with my whole heart, but wouldn't dream of going when not warm and sunny as there will be zero to do.

Try Seville. We were sat in the park in t shirts on New Year's Day drinking wine. One of my favourite cities.
