Experiment - what would your 2022 holiday cost in 2023?

I'll go first - just priced up the same holiday as we went on in 2022 to see what it would cost for next year. Same holiday provider, flights, baggage etc...
Portugal, 1 week, 2 adults 2 DC, 4* hotel all-inclusive.
2022 = £3,000
2023 = £4,700
I'm shocked, I expected 2023 prices would be significantly higher, but not that much higher! Is this across all travel or was it just my type of holiday?

2022 cost £3750
2023 cost £5215

This is also for Portugal for a summer holiday

We booked for lanzarote for October 2023 for £3800. Standard slightly less

Hmm looks like it may be a general big increase then - the thread on "How much is your 2023 holiday costing you?" looks that way - although some people do seem to have got some good deals!

Nothing. We couldn't afford a holiday in 2022

TERRRYsnotmine · 13/12/2022 12:56

2022 £1,596
2023 £2,562

Same package in Greece.

LittleLlama · 13/12/2022 22:33

2022 - £1450
2023 - £1823

Portugal - same hotel, board, provider, dates, etc.
