Looking for recommendations for a hotel within a couple of hours flight of the UK that has hotel rooms with a small kitchenette and separate bedroom. We have 2 children (9mo and 3yo) so want a separate room so husband and I can relax in the living space with tele in the evening.

We stayed in a fab hotel in Turkey last year with a bedroom behind a sliding door, but this year Turkey will be too hot for when we want to travel.

We stayed here in a two bed apartment with a kitchen and living room.

We stayed at zafiro Menorca with our son and they had exactly what you describe, not sure how it would work with 2 kids though as we just had a cot next to our bed in the bedroom.
we had a ground floor room with pool access which meant we could sit by the pool with the monitor while he napped too which was a bonus!
zafiro have other hotels in Majorca that we looked at and some of them had a separate bedroom too.

Thanks guys, all good options although some costs a bit eye watering so keep the suggestions coming and hopefully one of them will be perfect :)

We stayed at Zafiro Andratx in Majorca this summer with our 9 month old in a room as you describe with separate bedroom. It isn't the most child friendly of the Zafiro hotels but as a chain they cater well for children. Check out Zafiro Palace Palmanova and Zafiro Palace Alcudia as both are more geared towards children of your age and offer rooms with separate bedrooms (although you may have to book direct as Jet2/Tui don't always offer all room types).
