Weather experiences Tenerife feb half term

Please can anyone share their weather experiences for Tenerife around feb half term (mid feb)?

I know we need a hotel with a heated pool, but is it warm enough to sit by even a heated pool etc? Travelling with a 2 year old and want a few days away after our wedding on the Sunday before back to school!

I've looked at Dubai/Middle East but prices are extortionate for just 5 days. We're bound by the half term hols so will only get 5 days before I'm back at work.

Thank you!

Only been once at feb half term, but 3 days of around 24/25 deg during the day, followed by 4 days of torrential
rain!

I don't think it's the best of the canaries to look at. It's quite a cloudy island. We were there in August and didn't have great weather. I'd look at Lanzarote or Gran Canaria

@MiniCooperLover I thought they were the windier islands hence why I went for Tenerife.. maybe I'll expand my search!

Really don't want to book something that's just going to be a let down seeing as it's straight after our wedding 😩 we aren't having a honeymoon due to moving house/wedding expense/wanting a second child pretty soonish so this will be it!

We spent a rather cool and cloudy February half term in Lanzarote one year. Fortunately our apartment had a heater and the bathrooms had baths so I could get in a hot bath and warm up. The evenings were very chilly. I regreted taking only summer clothes with me and only one pair of socks.

I was there for a week in February this year, was warm and sunny. Hit enough to sunbathe. My parents stayed on another week and had some rain and cooler weather.
