Where would you go on last child free holiday?

This is the dilemma I’m in! We’re starting TTC in January and looking at holidays for next year!

Criteria:

• travel anytime between Feb and July
• open to anywhere but not a zika destination.
• need to factor in I could be pregnant
• budget £4kish plus spending money, could go up to £5k for all inclusive.
• could do 1 big holiday but also open to multiple smaller holidays.
• we do not like driving on holiday, but do like good food / culture.

I really can’t decide between a chilled out beach holiday, or a couple of city breaks as we probably won’t be able to do those for awhile!

All ideas welcomed, specific hotels etc I’d be grateful!! (No to Paris (hated it and I’ve been more than once) but otherwise open to all ideas!)

A lovely, romantic, adults-only hotel in Europe in June. That way if you're pregnant you can just relax and if you're not you can shag yourselves senseless while relaxing and enjoying the good food and wine. Where? Anywhere. Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece - whatever you fancy.

Maybe some city breaks? The places I was going to recommend are out of budget.
Or maybe an adult only hotel somewhere in Europe?

I'd go for some kind of beach-city combo in Thailand. Wish I'd gone further afield before kids, now I'm in a decade at least of Welsh holidays, nice as they are :)

Antigua

We went to Australia. It was our 30th birthdays and we'd just started trying. We did just over 2 weeks going to Sydney, Melbourne and Cairns.

It was a great holiday and we spent DH's 30th climbing the Sydney harbour bridge. We went in Feb.

We ask for experiences and trips from family as Xmas and birthday presents.

I brought DH an Aussie baby on board sign for the car. I had this idea of presenting it to him when we got home because I'd be pregnant with our baby by then - 2.5 years later I finally dug it out of a drawer to give to him lol.

During those years we did the following "last holidays".

A tour of Germany, Austria and Lichtenstein in our new car

Sri Lanka for my 32nd birthday

Hong Kong and Penang for CNY after DH had been working on HK for 6 weeks
