HELP! I want some sun at Easter but I don't want jet lag or another mortgage...

I want to go for some sun at Easter but don't want to go longhaul. I also don't want to be held to ransome because I have to travel in school hols. Can anyone suggest somewhere near with guaranteed sunbathing weather (I'm only talking 22 degrees or so) and some interesting stuff to entertain DSs (11 & 13) and DH. We have done canaries & DH has had enough of them...

Egypt, the Canaries, Turkey?

Marge, we went to the Algarve last Easter (which was ... mid- April?) & the weather was lovely. A couple of dull afternoons but when it was sunny it was glorious. Our school hols are April this year (& we're going to the Algarve again!) so I presumed you meant the same time. Mid-March? Hmmmm...perhaps risky, dunno.
