Australia visa times?

Does anybody know how long they are? I’ve just heard there is a backlog and we’re travelling in one month so I am slightly freaking out! ! I seem to remember it was really quick before so I didn’t really think much about it. Thanks.

If it just a tourist visa then pretty quick. We travelled last month and the eVisitor one was ready in an hour or so after submitting the application.

Evisitor is anything from 2 minutes to 2 weeks. I've had loads in my time and there's no rhyme or reason for it. A recent poster on here had her families come through in minutes but waited 10
Days for her DD's to come through.

i got mine in about 2 hours a few weeks back

why did you leave it until just before you go, i always get visas before i book anything just in case its refused (and theres not a real reason i would be refused)

I applied on Tuesday and got it back in 3 hours. Not a British passport, a far trickier one.
though my uncle and aunt applied late last year, one came through in 4 weeks, the other almost 8! Trickier passports again and he missed the trip.

Assuming british passport I would apply asap though.

Ten seconds is almost as soon as you submit the application. So, yes!

It was my 3rd eVisitor and it came back within a few seconds (this was approx one month ago).

Mine was granted before the acknowledgment arrived into my inbox! Phew!

There is an app you can use and it comes straight away.
