Solo travel in a group - recommendations?

I’ve always wanted to do a solo trip to Jordan or Egypt (DH and family would not be interested) but am a bit wary travelling on my own. I’ve seen a few tour operators that arrange trips for solo travellers which I think would be a good compromise for me. Just wondering if anyone has done a trip like this - any recommendations?

I ended up doing a 9 day solo trip to North India with Intrepid in the end as the Gaza situation had begun after my original post and was a worried about the unpredictable travel situation then.

I had an amazing time, met some wonderful people from all over the world and it gave me the confidence to travel alone again. Egypt and Jordan are still on my wish list… one day 🤞🏽
