Family day out in New Forest

It is DP's birthday on Friday. Has anyone got any suggestions on a family day out in the New Forest/Hampshire area that would please DP and a 1 year old? And doesn't cost a fortune!

Moors Valley. There is a website somewhere. You pay for parking which depends on how long you stay. Little train to go on, playground, Play trail. It's on the Dorset/Hampshire Border.

Just watch the maniac ponies, one ran after me and sank its teeth into my bare shoulder in the summer!

The kids are still traumatised.
