Disneyland Paris with DS6

I’m taking DS6 next weekend, a mum and son trip.

We’re staying in Santa Fe and have the full board meal plan.

We arrive at the parks on Sunday afternoon and leave Wednesday afternoon.

I’ve booked plaza breakfast one morning, 2 table service dinners and a lunch (not at our preferred locations but only booked recently).

He’s not tall enough for flight force or space mountain.

He’s very impressed by E.g. Mickey pizzza

What would be your suggested must sees : dos

What QSR should we aim for? Are any open in the evening for the days we have a table lunch booked

Any places for exciting snacks?

How can we check what credits are on our passes?

I’ve heard about claiming back tax.
What is this?

What shows do you recommend? Do we need to book?

How do we get a ride on Main Street vehicles?

Sorry for so many questions but I want him to have a blast.

Cafe Hyperion is ALWAYS crazy busy! The queues are always long, finding a table can be a bit of a struggle and the staff is never all that pleasant in my experience (probably due to how busy it is!). BUT the food is pretty good, and we particularly love the Jedi Burger meal they do! The burger itself is DELISH - by far the best at DLP and the Yoda cupcakes are lovely too! So it makes it worth a visit for us. They also often have entertainment on the stage which is visible from the seating area, so its a nice place to grab a bite to eat if there's a show on - which there often is, especially at Christmas time as Goofys Big Band show is usually on there!
Casey’s Corner is another of our favourites, and if it looks too crowded we grab a takeaway. You can sit by the castle if the weather permits, otherwise find a table inside the arcades.
Restaurant Hakuna Matata has brilliant theming and attention to detail. The food is fairly good too. The chicken strips and corn fries in Restaurant Hakuna Matata are a must try and the portions are large enough that you can share.
Cowboy Cookout has plenty of space so you never feel cramped and there’s often live country music.
The QSRs in Main Street like Casey's Corner usually stay open until park closing time, so people can get drinks and snacks before leaving, but if it’s a quiet day, the others might shut earlier.
The best snacks are crepes from the Ratatouille area or a bag of mini cinnamon sugar churos at Fuente Del Oro. You can also get dipped Mickey Meringues at the Boardwalk Candy Palace on the right as you enter the park and start walking down main street. They’re great for the iconic photo with the castle in the background!

There are mini food huts down by the Ratouille ride during Xmas Season and they are fabulous for a quick lunch.

Don't miss the snow on Main Street. You may have to hang around a little while but it happens a number of times during the day.

Make sure you see the Christmas Parade. Get there early for a good spot as it gets busy

For the Main Street vehicles, get there first thing and find a signpost with a picture of the vehicle on it, wait there and one will turn up within 5-10 mins :)

Thank you.

thats helpful. I want to feel like we’re going with the flow but I think we need a rough plan for which days in which park and what we’d like to eat

Hakuna Matata is my favourite fast food place - the corn fries are yummy.

TakeMeToYourLiar · 12/11/2022 07:31

If you're on Facebook there's a Disneyland Paris for Brits group that is really active and has loads of advice and info on it.

We have just come back a couple of weeks ago! It was AMAZING but very tiring!

Sorry I don't know what QSRs are?

We had breakfast in the hotel, packed LOADS of snacks and water for the day and then had dinner at 7pm! Everywhere was busy always!

The app is brilliant to check queue times / buy fast tracks / shows

We saw the Micky magic show which was brilliant but we bought tickets which were unnecessary (they were just fast track rather than entry!)

My 5 YO had the same height restrictions so we went on buzz, Spider-Man, ratatouille, pirates of the Caribbean and loads more! The avengers campus is fantastic with loads of hero's about

Parades were brilliant! But the fireworks were way way too busy!

Have the best time and wear the comfiest shoes you have x

jelly79 · 12/11/2022 07:59

Billy bobs and the marvel hotel were great to eat in x

We went a few years ago, it was great fun, we just went with the flow. I am a bit jealous.

TakeMeToYourLiar · 12/11/2022 07:31

What are corn fries?

They are like chips that you get with the meals - really delicious.

Wtafis · 12/11/2022 12:29

QSR are the quick service restaurants
on the full board you can eat at them once a day and table service once

Wtafis · 12/11/2022 12:30

Ah great we have a reservation at Billy Bobs
