Covid Pass Name

Hi all,

I'm travelling to new York and my covid pass does not show my middle name, my passport and ESTA does. Does anyone know if this will be an issue?

NHS app shows my full name in setting just not on the pass.

It won't be a problem don't worry

We travelled to France in the summer (when covid pass was still required). It was only when uploaded my pass to the Eurotunnel site and it was sent for manual verification that realised my covid pass and passport had different first names (think full name and abbreviated version of the same name). I was completely panicked but thankfully it was approved within around 12 hours.

When we were back from out trip I updated my record at my GP surgery to use my full name to match my passport. The guidance said it could take up to three weeks to be reflected on the covid pass, but actually it only took around 48 hours.

So you'll probably be fine (especially as the missing middle name seems even more minor), but if you aren't travelling immediately then you should be able to update the covid pass by updating your NHS record via your GP.

@dontknowwhatisbest thanks, the thing is my dr has updated the records and can see my full name on the app. When I click to get my covid pass it only shows first and last name.

My Covid pass doesn’t have my middle name flew into Houston with United with no issues in September

Yes sorry my passport and air ticket both had my middle name.
