Lapland Finland

We have just booked a last-minute holiday to
Lapland going on the 8th Dec Me, my husband and our 4 year old daughter. We're staying just outside of rovaniemi for 4 days.
What are the best days out please? We have hired a car so travelling isn't a problem.
And other than the obvious any particular clothing items we we need?
Thanks

Can't comment on days out, but I can on bits and pieces! We went to Lapland on an organised trip before lockdown with a 6 and 8 year old.

So if you can take lots of extra gloves and hats so you can change them once they get wet.

Take the hand and foot warmers you can order off Amazon. I think they are single use.

Take lots of snacks!

Have fun!

Speak to the local tourist board. When we went to Finland they organised our trips. Kids loved husky rides. Santa visit was brilliant too. Sledging, skiing. Loved it.
