I stayed here for a few days - not much for kids though. The bar was once used as James Bond's hotel room. It was a weekend away from dcs - there were some families there as it was beautiful, but certainly nothing laid on for them.

I've been flirting with Sardinia for a while, but it's very expensive, which leads me to believe that it isn't particularly geared towards kids.

Desiderata hello! Sardinia is wonderful for kids.Beautiful, uncrowded (as long as you avoid August)beaches and Sardinians love kids and even better great pizza! We stay with friends and agree finding reasonable priced accommodation is difficult.
Development is limited on the island and often the places you see are in Costa Smeralda the most expensive part.Clapton have seen these and these but haven't stayed with them I'm afraid which isn't really what you were looking for.

Sardinia is absolutely GORGEOUS and my children adored it. They were four and six at the time.
