Camping La Masia, Blanes Eurocamp

Thank you to all your advice so far! I have booked a holiday with Eurocamp, for myself and three children (we are travelling for the first time on my own - widow) in France (Le Clarys-Plage).

But I am probably overthinking it (and looking too much on trip advisor!) and wondering whether to go for Camping La Masia instead.

Looks fairly near Blanes, and the beach. I just want a relaxing holiday (kids will be 6, 9 and 16). They just want a beach and pool. And only 35/40 mins transfer journey from Girona which is a big plus. I have been to Malgrat years ago so is fairly familiar and quite like the resorts along the coast

Anyone been? It needs to be quiet and safe at night.

Thank you

Dunno but I have a similar dilemma. I booked solaris resort Dalmatian Coast Croatia with Eurocamp but trip advisor is putting me off!

Should say, I'm also going as a single parent.

I've not been to La Masia (parents have) but have spent many a happy holiday at the Bella Terra campsite in Blanes. Absolutely adore the place. Nice beach (not sand) with a shelf but I think a longish walk out before you get to the shelf. A train to take you into Blanes proper, lovely market, harbour and prom to walk along.

We always used to drive but flying into Girona is not too far away. Barcelona is about two hours away by shuttle bus but there is a train that goes direct to Blanes if you want to go that way.

I would highly recommend this area of Spain. Happy holidays

Thank you so much for your helpful comments. The curse of trip advisor! I think I am going to swop - this all seems a lot easier, easier transfer and more to do when we are there. Love the sound of the train into Blanes as my youngest hates walking!
