Barcelona places to stay

We have booked flights for a long weekend in Barcelona in March. I am looking for recommendations of places to stay. Not too pricey bit woukd like to be in the city of ease of getting around
Any places you have been that you would recommend?

We stayed in the hotel jazz, really nice rooms, central and small rooftop pool with great bar. Great location.

Also stayed at hotel royal on la ramblas which was nice but that was a while ago. Hotel diagonal was good too but a bit our of the way for me.

We stayed in hotel Evenia Ricafort

Lovely and clean
Everything we needed
Nice and quiet but a short stroll from lots of sights and close to a number of metro stations

We stayed at Hotel Lleo- really good location, cheap and very clean.

Citadines apartments on Las Ramblas. Excellent value for money and very central location. Don't get the breakfast though as it's not worth the cost.
