We are due to go to Sri Lanka at the end of February and are flying with First Choice Airways. I am now slightly concerned as they have just informed me that they do not provide cots/cribs for babies. Our baby will be 8 months and the flight is a night time flight, I do not fancy having him on my knee for 10 hours! Please tell me the travel agent has got it wrong!

i would try and pay for an extra seat, we did this with dd at 20 months and it was hell, cant remember if they had cots, i doubt it as they can sell those seats for a premium.

Hi

Unfortunately First Choice do not offer sky cots for infants. As far as I'm aware, none of the charter airlines do. Legroom is great though so at least you'll have more space than if you travelled with BA or Virgin.

Where are you staying in Sri Lanka?

we are staying in 3 different places- a place on the coast fairly close to the airport, Kandy, and in 'tea country'. Have you been?

Hi twinkle
We went to Sri Lanka for our honeymoon in 2004, pre baby. We had a fantastic time, it is a beautiful country. Enjoy!
