Cosy cottage guest house recommendations

Hi All!

Does anyone have suggestions for cute cosy guesthouses?

We stayed in one in Savannah USA and it was so lovely, each room unique and had a homely feel. Owner left out wine and cake in the evening, sat in lounge playing cards.

Weve been to one in Bath here where it was similar each room had history, and they had an honesty bar and people would walk to lounge in slippers, all very cosy... This is now closed unfortunately I think Covid unfortunately got them.

Has anyone got any recommendations preferably in the South?

Number 38 Clifton in Bristol is very lovely. Only a few rooms, a lounge and library, slightly old-fashioned club feel.

Covey Cottage, Broad Oak, Herefordshire

We loved our stay here. Quirky and very old. Excellent food at the New Inn at St Owen’s Cross a 10 min drive away.
