Cala D’or

Has anyone been before?

Looking at going next July 2023, in the half term as my DD has just started year 7.

I've been a couple of times and stayed at hotel Cala d'or as part of a yoga holiday. Really lovely small cove with a spotless beach. Short walk into either town or the marina. Plentiful decent restaurants. I’d go back. Minor downside is it’s a 45 minute transfer from the airport and I did not hire a car so the taxi fare was steep.

Absolutely love cala D Or. Have been there so many times Stayed in Cala Ferrera .So pretty but close to shops restaurants etc Absolutely one if my favourite holiday destinations

I first went 50 odd years ago and then again more recently, it's a lovely place , pretty beach and not too clubby.

Absolutely love cala d'or. Kids will love it. Esmerelda or cala Azul are on the beach. There is a Facebook page too for tips and forums

Thanks. It will be me, my OH and our two children (12&10 when we go).

We had a ‘big’ holiday this year and went to Disneyworld & universal so we are looking to do a relaxing ‘cheap’ holiday next year while we save for a bigger one the year after.

From what I can see it seems to tick a lot of boxes but Iv never been so can’t be sure.

We are looking for nice places to eat on a evening, nice beaches with calm water, pool, couple of day trips (Iv seen boat trips & a cave trip etc).

Maybe a water park/animal park if it’s within a reasonable taxi distance?

Has anyone stayed at Inturotel Esmeralda Park or Sol Cala d´Or Apartamentos ??

We went when DC were 14/15. It's a lovely resort. It is touristy but a mix of nationalities. Lots of great restaurants. We stayed in the Esmerelda IIRC. Right on sea front nice apartments, gym etc. 5 mins from restaurants.
