What to pack half term

Not sure whether to post this here or style and beauty.

What to pack for an AI/beach hol next week if the forecast is 20-23 degrees and sunny intervals (it keeps changing)

Is it shorts and t shirt weather? Or jeans?

Sandals or trainers?

And dress and a cardi at night?

Thanks seasoned half term goers!

It depends where you're going, but where we will be (Italy) it will be no coat weather during the day, but not much opportunity to wear sandals. And we will need coats to go out after it gets dark.

Sorry forgot to say it's the algarve

That's further south than us (and fewer mountains), but I'd say as a general rule warm days = cold nights at this time of year.
