4 days?

Arcade hotel is fun, and has family rooms 2/3/4 beds.

Id suggest three full days and with dc that age I’d do Anne Frank’s house, a pancake boat cruise, the diamond factory tour, tea at the smallest house, This is Holland, Moco museum, Tony's Chocolonely Super Store and the Nxt musuem.

It depends what you want to do of course and your dc, mine can only do one big thing, then they need some downtime. I’d recommend;

Anne Frank House (must book ahead)
Science Museum
A canal boat trip
Rijksmuseum (audio tour in English)
Mooching with chips and mayo etc.

I can’t help with where to stay as dh is duct h so we stay near his parents and get the train in for the day.

Dutch! Weird autocorrect

So helpful thank you . The train times were working out as 2 full days and a 1/2 day but think that just won't be quite enough . Will look again

I've taken my dc to Amsterdam for 3 days at around those ages, in ones and twos. We all agreed that we should have a family holiday there (ie with all the dc and their dad as well), and that we would easily find enough to do to fill a full week.

Some of our highlights:
Anne Frank House
Coster Diamonds
Van Gogh museum
Rembrandts House
Canal boat trip
Kukenhof
Hiring bikes at Kukenhof and cycling between the flower fields to the sea.

Book AFH online as soon as you know your dates. It books up very quickly, but th ey release more slots every so often.
