Did you book Easyjet flights today?

If so, where have you booked and how much did you pay?
I’ve got a weekend in Krakow in June, and 8 days in Greece for September. Was cheaper to do 8 nights instead of 7!
Both decent day time flights £120pp return for krakow, just hand luggage, and £210 each for Greece, checked luggage included in that, seat choice priority boarding .

friend has booked us a weekend in Copenhagen for just under £80 pp, hand luggage only.
On the whole, I think flight prices have gone up, which is no surprise really!
How did everyone else do?

Alltheholidays · 06/10/2022 14:48

@Onthedowns Lovely! That’s not a bad price for peak summer holidays.

Not for 4 of us

Justjoinedforthis · 06/10/2022 17:27

Ours was well expensive! 1400ish for four of us going to greece, only about two return flights a week. That was choosing seats and a big checked bag.

Charlieiscool · 06/10/2022 17:43

I almost did and then decided to go with Jet2. The difference in price was not enough to justify driving to the EasyJet departure airport while Jet2 is local. It used to be a much cheaper option.

junipermerry · 06/10/2022 17:48

£518 to Bordeaux in August for 4 with 2 checked bags. I was happy with that for Summer holidays.

Lookingformymarbles · 06/10/2022 17:52

£480 for 2 of us, Spain in early July. Includes luggage & seats & decent times. Thought it was a good price until I read this thread!

Alltheholidays · 06/10/2022 18:43

@junipermerry That’s an excellent price!
@Lookingformymarbles Sounds reasonable to me. July is never cheap!
Friend just booked split for her and her dh. £450 return for both with checked bags for early September.

@Justjoinedforthis That’s bloody extortionate!

Why today is there a special deal on

PAFMO · 06/10/2022 18:48

Am still working out which airport to fly to, but will be booking either Munich or Innsbruck to travel onward to Zell am See. easyJet only do Salzburg which is the nearest in winter sadly.
Innsbruck slightly cheaper and nearer but a late evening flight which would mean £100+ for airport hotel rather defeating the object. Looks to be about £220 return for both of us with one 23kg bag. Mid August.

Ah ok! I need flights for May/June so I'll take a look

Choconut · 06/10/2022 18:56

3 of us to Nice for Aug bank holiday long weekend - £418.

Notjusta · 06/10/2022 19:00

Yep but only one way from Rome to London in half term - under £200 for 4 of us but no seats or luggage yet. And even more of a bargain as I forgot I had a £40 voucher to use left over from covid so I only paid £160.

I really want to book to go to south of France in the summer but DH doesn't have his leave yet. Annoying as the flights were under £100 each when I looked earlier.

FoodieToo · 06/10/2022 20:15

I was looking for London- Crete but only booked the return leg as they were much dearer than I expected ! We live in Dublin but travel through London a lot .

Might go through Paris instead , or Athens when RA release.

Annoyed though as wanted it all organised today !!

Charlieiscool · 07/10/2022 06:46

Do you know when RA are likely to be released foodietoo ?

ducktape · 07/10/2022 07:24

£780 for 4 of us Belfast to Faro in mid August, travelling on weekends. With 1 large checked bag.
Was happy enough with that, Ryanair & jet 2 were coming out at about £1100 or £1200. Our total holiday price including separately booked accommodation comes out at £1500. I have done this every year since 2016 and booked on easyjet release day, as otherwise we just wouldn't be able to afford a package holiday during the school holidays.

TwinkleChristmas · 07/10/2022 08:41

School holidays in July for 10 nights.
4 of us.
Bristol to palma (Spain).
1 suitcase which was £73!

£855 return including the suitcase.

I actually thought that was £££. I was expecting it to be in the £600 mark.

I could of got it in the £600 mark but it would of meant landing at 11pm so a whole day would of been wasted and it seemed a hassle to land the night before at 11pm and check into a hotel for 1 night. There would be hardly any saving and I already have the hotel booked.

TwinkleChristmas · 07/10/2022 08:47

I priced up the same flights going at the beginning of July and it was only £313 for all 4 of us…. Fucking damn school holidays!

Next year il be taking her out of school next year!

PAFMO · 07/10/2022 14:09

As an aside- I've just checked BA and for what I want, the price next August is slightly cheaper than easyJet and at a better time of day!

VanCleefArpels · 08/10/2022 10:42

£120 a head return to Palermo Sicily next September with on board case and speedy boarding. Very pleased!

Anjelika · 08/10/2022 14:04

Wowsers sounds like I got totally fleeced!!! 5 flights from Liverpool to Canaries in school hols with 3 checked in 23kg cases and selected seats - just over £2K. Set my alarm for 5.55am too so bought them early. Had already booked accommodation so no flexibility on dates.

VanCleefArpels · 08/10/2022 14:42

I think from reading this and another similar thread flights not out of London are coming in way more expensive. Throw in the cases and seats and its bound to rack up. We flew for the first time cabin bags only this year and it’s surprisingly doable if you accept you are not going to face a different outfit every night and only one pair of shoes 😉
