Holy grail - bag that expands & fits both Ryanair & easyJet free hand luggage allowance?

If I've got this right, the free underseat luggage allowance for Ryanair is 40 x 25 x 20 and easyJet is 45 x 36 x 20 which is obviously quite a bit bigger....

Does anyone have any suggestions please for a bag that would fit Ryanair but which could expand a bit to fit the more generous easyJet measurements (doesn't need to be right up to the max) so I don't waste any precious packing space?

I've seen some great bags by people like Cabinmax and Aerolite but they are an either/ or solution and work on one airline but not the other.

I've got an old rucksack which could squash down I suppose for Ryanair if I don't overfill it but I do like a nice bit of luggage for some reason! Bonus points if it has a luggage sleeve for putting over the handle of a bigger case 😍

Thank you

Thanks @Blush21 ! That's the idea - not too keen on the colours, would prefer boring black/ grey/ navy or at least not pastel. I've been browsing amazon but it seems to be the only one that is actually expandable, any more suggestions please? <hopeful bump>

I’d try Cabin Zero. I’ve got two of their bags (different sizes), and they are a bit like Mary Poppin’s bag in that they seem to fit an awful lot in for the size they are. They’ve stood up to several trips so far. A friend of mine who has travelled far more than I do saw mine and said it’s one of the best ones for travelling she’s seen.

I've not heard of that brand @SunUpSunDown , they look great quality and love the style, top tip thanks! I would need one for each airline and I don't plan on flying Ryanair very often 😆
