Child with cough - can we fly?!

Hello, I'm quite sleep deprived so probably stressing about nothing but:

We are due to go on holiday next Thursday morning, very early in the morning. We are flying to Spain. We haven't been on holiday in years!

There is, as usual, a cold going around my daughters nursery. she is three, and since last night she has been coughing quite a bit. She has long periods where she doesn't cough but then she has quite chesty coughing little fits that last a few seconds.

She has a runny nose and she doesn't have a temperature.

We have done lateral flows, all of us, all negative.

I'm still very stressed that she might still be coughing next week when it is time to fly! I don't think you can get PCR tests on the NHS anymore can you? I'm wondering what I can do to make sure we don't have any problems if she is still coughing But is otherwise well. I don't want to be walking through the airport panicking that we won't be allowed on the plane because she's coughing!

If I do a private PCR test when do I need to order it (for the results to be valid for our flight)? How quick are they in terms of turnaround? Do I even need to be worrying about this? I'm so confused.

Thanks!

That’s next week. Cough relief medicine? As you haven’t said she’s actually fluey with a temperature, I wouldn’t worry. Who is checking a coughing child anyway? Relax. Take every action to reduce the cough though.
