Has anybody been to Gatwick recently?

I’m going on Saturday with a baby and toddler and just wondering if there are still long queues?

Im planning on getting there 3 hrs before the flight but just so I can be prepared with all the snacks and bribery to keep them happy if needed.

I flew through there at around 7am on a Saturday, a couple of weeks ago, we sailed through security. There was a small queue for bag drop. The restaurants in departures were packed (south terminal).

I was there this morning, I was checked in and through security in under half hour. That was at about 8am.

We were there last week and sailed through (it was a Thursday morning though)
There is a family queue at security which is calmer and quieter so I suggest using that!

Yesterday afternoon around 1pm. Smooth as silk. Bag drop was done in about 2 minutes, just one person in front of me. Through security in about 5.
Plenty of seating flightside.

We flew through Gatwick North on 20/9 - you no longer have to take electronics/liquids out of your bag, so it was really quick through security. The restaurants/cafes were really busy though!

A few days ago at Gatwick South. Flew through security and didn't have to wait long for boarding. As mentioned above the restaurants were all very busy though!
