Does anyone have any thoughts/advice?? I am a first time mum with a 4 month old son. My husband and I are supposed to be flying to Germany tonight to go and see his daughter from a previous relationship. We want to introduce her to her new brother. The trip has been planned since he was born, but now it seems my little one has woken up with a bit of a cold - he seems in good spirits and only has the occasional sneeze and is a bit snuffly - should I tell my husband that he will need to go alone? Not sure if I am being paranoid or not? Mainly worried about how the flight will affect him...any thoughts/advice would be much appreciated!

I would still go as planned, it's only going to be a couple of hours flight, he might even sleep through it (DS slept through TAKEOFF on his first ever flight at 6 months, I couldn't believe it).

Unless you are posting from Australia or something I would say you should go. He is 4 months old and has a cold, he is fine in himself. If he had got like this before you were due to travel back you wouldn't have delayed your return trip would you?

Go but make sure you feed him on take off and landing to ease any pressure in ears. Honestly he'll be fine Worst comes to worst they do have very good dr's there .
