Sherborne

I'm meeting a friend in Sherborne tomorrow as it's halfway between us. Looking through the archives it sounds as if Olivers is a good bet. Are there any other good cafes etc and any tips on places to amble round for the rest of the afternoon would be very welcome. Many thanks.

The Pear Tree (on the corner opposite the Oxfam) is lovely. High chairs, baby change good etc.

It's a deli shop and cafe and serves delicious food and drink (a lot of which is organic I think).

It's very popular so get there by 12 if you can or reserve a table. It's not huge so worth booking really.

Thank you luciemule We did try the Pear Tree but it was packed so went to the pub next door. I was child free and it was lovely to have a meal in total peace !
