One day at Disneyland Paris, book for one or two parks?

We have a trip planned to Paris and think we’ll have a day where we could go to Disney. On looking at the tickets it has the option to include either one park or both of them. We’d be taking a 7 year old. Would you recommend trying to do both in one day or just one? If just one, which one? I know people would recommend longer, however we don’t have that option and would see this as a taster to see if we’d want to go back for longer.

As we’ll be in Paris it seems a shame not to have a day there.

Many thanks!

Do magic Kingdom. The other one is mainly about the big rides. You won't get both done in one day.

Thank you @Yupsuuuure . I did think two may be too much.

I would just do the main park and not the studios.

Unless your dc is a massive Marvel fan, I'd skip The Studios if you've only got one day. The main park has more rides for a 7yo.

The magic kingdom if you only have one day

We're just back and did 2 parks 2 days I wish we had longer! We were at magic kingdom for it opening and the stayed till 11:30 was a long day but so worth it

Same as other posters-magic kingdom. If you have the option of staying at a Disney hotel the night before, you get an extra hour in the park before it opens to everyone. A good way of avoiding long queues for the most popular rides!

We did a day at each and DC enjoyed the studios more than the Magic Kingdom although they were a little younger than your DC.

I think the Pixar, Toy Story, Cars themes appealed more than Mickey Mouse and Co. and the Disney Princesses. It also felt more 'doable' in a day.

We did do a character meal which was fantastic for photos etc.

If you want to feel as if you have 'done' Disney I would say go to the Magic Kingdom. If you're just happy to have a theme park style day out then try the Studios.

I would do the main park too. We really enjoyed the studios but if you want to say you've done Disney it would be best to do the main park with the castle and parades etc.

Thank you everyone. Magic Kingdom for one day seems to be the answer. Really appreciate the responses 👍

Magic kingdom 100%

Magic kingdom. Book a character lunch if she's into that sort of thing then say no to wasting time queuing for other meets.
