If we wanted to book early for next summer does anyone have an idea where I should look for deals?
BA and Virgin quite ££££.
Sky scanner scares me as the very cheap deals are with websites I've never heard of!!
Any tips gratefully received!

The BA sale has been extended to October 4th.

I sometimes use Skyscanner to compare prices then book direct with the airline.

We flew with American Airlines this year. They were great!

Are you flying anywhere in particular? Different airlines are better for different regions/cities depending on their hubs.

Norse Atlantic Airways have just started low-cost routes to the US. Currently they are offering Gatwick to New York for very reasonable prices. They go to other cities from Oslo and Berlin. When Norwegian used offer low-cost flights between Europe and the US it was often more cost-effective to book from Oslo even with the cost of an Easyjet flight between the UK and Oslo to connect. I used to do that a lot when my now/husband/then-boyfriend were dating long-distance.

You can probably blame UK ADP at least in part for that...

where are you flying from and where to? and when
dont book thru anyone else but the airline website, skyscanner is great for research but all the links lead to travel agency some are a bit dubious and in the event of the shit hitting the fan take nothing to do with it, whereas the airlines are better for dealing with it
