i thought the booking had to have the age of everyone on the return flight?
I've asked the lady i booked with and i've also asked the company she booked with...if you get what i mean....and they've all said it's ok. (ever which you'd stuck to a trusted travel agents like Thomsons or Thomas Cook?) I've checked all the companies we're dealing with for ATOL and ABTA and they are registered but quite honestly i've never known so much paperwork and different companies for 1 holiday....!

If youve given you date of births they will be able to work out how old you are wont they?

Where are you going?

What do you mean?

LIZS · 24/01/2008 15:06

you do need to be careful if the package has been put together by a 3rd party. Each part may not be covered as one holiday iyswim so if the airline goes under or is seriosuly delayed , for example, you may still have to pay for accommodation. Would it make a difference if someone has a b'day while you're away (ie a child turning 2)?

when i phoned the parent company yesterday, the lady told me that they just take our birthdates and that's why our ages (as is now) come up on the invoices.
however, just as well i did ring up cos they'd actually taken the wrong bd for my dd1! anyway, they've taken the birthdates again and passport no.s so hopefully everything will be ok!!!
TIREDEMMA....what i mean is that usually on a booking form, they ask for the ages of everybody on the RETURN flight.

LIZS, yes it does make a difference if a child changes age during holiday....i have experience of this as all 3 of my children usually..but not this year...all have their birthdays while we are on holiday (all in the same week) so they always ask for RETURN FLIGHT ages.
