Accommodation in Palma de Mallorca

Just booked a last minute flight to Palma next week and now looking for accommodation.
Just DH and I and we are staying 5 nights, budget is £100 a night.
Not sure wether to stay in the city centre or further down the coast as we're hoping it will be warm enough to go on the beach or laze around a swimming pool.
Anyone got any recommendations please?

We had a lovely stay at Ars Magna Bleisure hotel. Lovely roof top pool and on a street of great restaurants.

I'm thinking if we want a decent pool, we will have to go out of town.

Or you could stay in town for the great buzz in the evening and spend the day at some where like Mhares Sea Club - about 25 mins away from Palma Centre. Or PuroBeach Palma which is 5 mins out of town.
