Suggestions for Greece with baby?

We want to take a holiday to Greece when our baby will be almost 1 year old, just before I finish maternity leave. Any suggestions on where to go? We normally travel to some of the quieter smaller islands but this time we will pick one of the islands with direct flights from the UK (probably Corfu, Kos or Kefalonia or Crete, none of which we have been to before).

We normally stay in small family run hotels or AirBnB rooms but this time tossing up between picking a resort hotel where at least one of us can relax and swim if baby is napping or needs down time or getting an apartment - not sure how easy it is to find one with a good cot etc? Is it easier to go all inclusive with a baby or eat out in the evenings with her in the stroller? I hate cooking on holiday so want to avoid that other than breakfast.

Any suggestions either on specific hotels that cater well to families with babies or towns to stay in would be a appreciated. Basically somewhere that still feels Greek rather than ‘package holiday resort’, attractive and easy to get around with a stroller (will skip the whitewashed hilltop towns with lots of cobblestones and steps for this trip), close to nice safe beaches, not much driving required but might hire a car anyway.

Arillas, and San Stefanos in Corfu or Troulos in Skiathos would tick most of your boxes. Some accommodation is uphill so it's worth checking reviews. I've been to all 3 with young children but not recently so I can't recommend specific accommodation.

We always went SC and would all have a siesta in the afternoon and then go out for an evening meal.

Skiathos is quiet with direct flights. Only 3 hours 20.

At 1 they will probably have a regular bedtime. Ours wouldn’t sleep in the pram in the evening at that age and they just wanted to run about. We found it best to get an apartment with two bedrooms, kitchen and eating area. You can cut down on the clothes you take if you have a washing machine. We went out during the day, then followed the usual bed time and bought lovely local ingredients and had our evenings to ourselves on the terrace. We did have one night in a hotel and honestly the restaurant dinner was a bit of a nightmare!

Grecotel hotels are excellent when you’re travelling with kids. They have so much baby equipment available for your stay if you request it online beforehand. The Daphnila Bay one is in a nice area which is quite quiet, unspoilt and easy to navigate with a pushchair.

It's lovely - you would need a car as it's a 5 minute drive from the beach but it's too far to walk.

The suites are designed to be family friendly.
