hello

I can confirm there is still a cafe there...and they do very yummy cakes.

Was there on Saturday for the first time in years.

It's still there, www.royalparks.org.uk/parks/richmond_park/facilities.cfm. Used to go there quite a lot when living in Kingston, miss it loads

Have you walked in the grounds to King Henrys mount where you can see St Pauls Cathedral on a clear day, and no one is allowed to build anything that will obstruct the view.

And also, the Ian Dury commemorative bench where you can plug your headphones in and listen to 'Reasons to be Cheerful' by solar power!

Its all going on at Pembroke Lodge! Plus I got married there.

thanks all - I saw that cali - but it's partly what set me wondering - all it says is "The Lodge has a banqueting facility for up to 130 people..." call me anal but "there is a cafe serving sandwiches and cakes" would be kind of helpful.

however am prepared to trust pregnabrain (despite her name...)
