Hi, anyone know what is the best thing to do to use your phone in USA?

On 02, in Europe it's the same as using phone in UK but don't know about US, should I use usual 02 or pick up a data card in the US?

If you have an iPhone XR or newer I’d recommend downloading Airalo app for data. It’s an Esim and you choose how much data you want to pay for. I used it in the US and again in Canada this year.

I'm with O2 and I just use a combination of wifi and an international bolt-on when I'm in the USA.

I went to US in 2019 and did a lot of driving so needed access to data for sat nav and accommodation booking to I hired a portable wifi from Teppy who have been taken over by another company now, I think they are called Travel Wifi or something like that. It cost us about £120 and was brilliant and very easy to pick up and drop off.
We could connect all our devices and not worry about a bill when we got home.

I liked the ease so much I actually bought a similar device as we travel a lot.

You can add a bolt on which gives calls and 25gb data outside EU/UK.
