Outings Near Bicester/Aylesbury for a 3-year-old?

I'm planning to visit my in-laws north of Bicester in mid-December, and looking for things to take my 3-year-old DS to. Anything from soft play to drop-in centres to play farms to whatever. Ideally Bicester, possibly Aylesbury, possibly even Oxford.

Any suggestions? I worry that a few days indoors with the in-laws will drive us all batty.

We used to take the kids to Baby Bounce at Spiceball Leisure Centre, Banbury. here is a link

A bit like softplay, but less stressful for parents. It's a HUGE sports hall, with bouncy castle, small sit and ride toys, balancing beams, tubes to climb through, Little Tykes climbing frames, slides, footballs, etc.

Banbury is also a nice town to wander round with a buggy and/or small child: loads of space, big shops, helpful shop assistants, etc. (Unlike Oxford to be avoided at all costs!)

Bicester swimming pool is lovely for toddlers too, nice and warm, great changing rooms, gently shelving pool, etc. Fab!

Thanks! I've started looking these up on the web, so I'll have a good handful of outings for my trip.

Our favourite is the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre in Quainton. They even do Father Christmas Thomas the Tank Engine day in the run up to Christmas. Highly recommended.
