We're going away on our 1st holiday with ds who's just about to turn 1. As much as I'm excited, I'm also anxious too as a ftm. What are the essentials we need to take? Things to be aware of? We were planning to start on cows milk once he turns one but wondering if that will be wise to do on holiday? Should we just take formula? Also, we're still looking for a travel stroller that is similar in weight and practicality to the babyzen yoyo without the hefty price tag. How was your first holiday with your dc? Any tips and recommendations please 🙏

It really depends on where you’re going and what you’re doing. If you’re going to be on the beach, take a little tent with sun protection - you can get them in Argos and a few other place. If you’re going to be at the pool, don’t forget swim nappies and a floatation aid (mine loved their swim ring).
For a travel stroller, you can’t do much better than the Ergobaby Metro.
Don’t forget Calpol sachets and sudocrem.
I’d also suggest a black out blind, white noise, monitor, a familiar blanket from home and a night light.
Get a sun hat with ties. The ones with the neck flap are good.
You might want to take a few safety items eg corner covers in case of sharp coffee table corners in the room.
