We're doing a covid delayed road trip next year and plan to spend the last few days on Vancouver Island, in a self catering property.
Any recommendations on areas or even properties? We want a view of the sea, peaceful, but with some facilities (doesn't need to be loads) up to about 20 mins drive away. Not an apartment as we really want to be away from everything and everyone after a tough few years. Ideally somewhere that increases the chance of seeing whales! We found a house when we first looked, near Shirley, but that has more than doubled in price since covid and is now £400 a night
