Honeymoon - 3.5k budget - where?

I'm planning a honeymoon for next year, budget 3.5k. We have 2 DC's who'll be 3 and 5- and I'm torn between taking them with us or having an adults only get away (grandparents have offered to look after them).

Ideally I'd love somewhere with great beaches and amazing service and if the kids were coming a great beach club. Although I'm aware my budget might not be big enough!

Any suggestions please?

I'd definititely leave them with the grandparents if they are happy to have them! You mightn"t get the offer of them being minded for a week again. It is your homeymoon. If you feel a week would be too long, go for 5 days of luxury on your own. Where depends what time of the year I guess.

I would leave the kids with the grandparents and go to a good adults only resort and bask in it.
