Venice hotel/apartment recommendation

We're (me, DH, and 2DC age 10 and 12) heading to Venice next May for two nights and are looking for a hotel. I've been having a search but some of the hotels are eye wateringly expensive and I wondered if anyone had any recommendations for a reasonably priced hotel that either has quad rooms/family rooms or interconnecting rooms or an apartment that sleeps 4? Thank you for any suggestions.

We stayed at Hotel Canal and Walter.
Quadruple room with breakfast was about £130 a night in July.

We stayed here www.anticodoge.com/ and it has what looks like a 2 bedroom apartment. Good location, good breakfast and at the time reasonably priced for Venice.
